Adult Golf Clinics

May Adult Clinics

“Getting Started” – begins Wednesday, May 4 at 6:00 p.m.

The “Getting Started” clinic is primarily for the person just starting the game, but is unique for all. We begin with putting and move on to chipping and pitching the ball. We then move on to the full swing with the check list or the setup, the things you do prior to beginning your backswing. Next we learn the swing positions during the takeaway and the backswing. Then comes the downswing, the impact and the follow through or finish positions. In just 4 weeks you will have the knowledge on how set up to make the proper swing.

The May “Getting Started” clinics are held on Wednesdays (May 4, 11, 18, 25) at 6:00 p.m.

The cost is $99 and includes a $25 range card.

“Getting Course Ready” – begins Thursday, May 5.

The “Getting Course Ready” clinic is the next step, the one that gets you on the golf course. You’ve taken lessons and you’ve practiced around the practice area, and now you’re ready to go on the golf course. Or are you? There’s apprehension by all, taking that big step to actually playing golf. When we’re practicing the conditions are almost perfect. Once we get out on the course we find the land is not level, there are trees, (big trees) and rough long grass where the ball sometimes disappears, and bunkers. Although we’ve learned the basics of the full swing, putting, and chip shots in the “Getting Started” clinic, we need to learn how to play these trouble shots, how to determine what club to use, and how to use it. You’ll also learn course etiquette and how to make decisions prior to hitting your shot.

The May “Getting Course Ready” clinics are held on Thursdays (May 5, 12, 19, 26) at 6:00 p.m.

The cost is $129 and includes green fee and carts costs as well as a $25 range card.

Roseville 9-Hole Golfers Casual League

This league is for the beginning-to-intermediate, or returning, player. If you are still working on your swing or are unable to hit the ball up in the air over 50 yards consistently then you are not ready for this league. (Stay tuned as I am trying to work on maybe a 5-hole play day for beginners).

To join,  go to

The Meetup site is where you can RSVP if you will want to play in any event.

Most of the information is on the site, but if you have any questions, please send me an email, a text, or call me. I look forward to having you join us!
