The current session of our popular Little Linker/Diamond League program began August 30.

Play will be for eight (8) straight Sundays, beginning August 30. Tee times may vary, but Diamond League play normally starts at 2:00 p.m. Little Linkers play at approximately 2:30 p.m. This program is for golfers who have the ability to hit the ball into the air and move it forward – in other words have played before or have had previous instruction.

The Diamond League is for players 13 through 17. These players will be playing from the adult tees here at Diamond Oaks.

The Little Linkers is for players 7 through 12. These players will play from one of two sets of tees. 7 – 9 play from the orange tees which are placed on the course just on Sundays. 10 – 12 play from the yellow tees (Diamond Tees). Younger players who display the ability to play from these tees may do so.

The last three weeks the players play under tournament criteria, i.e. they play on their own with no help from adults or other players. We take the low two out of three scores to determine championships for each age group.

The cost of this program is $199, and includes green fees. Juniors receive a $25 discount if they have participated in a First Tee program within the calendar year.

Come into the Diamond Oaks Pro Shop to register. For more information please contact Dale Smith at .

If you are still working on your swing or are unable to hit the ball up in the air over 50 yards consistently then you are not ready for this league.
